Become a Vendor

The Salute to the Red, White & Blue extends a limited number of booth spaces to Commercial Vendors, food vendors, and event sponsors.

Electricity is not available and generators are not allowed.

  • Community Education Booth: This category is open to non-profit organizations, government agencies, and/or public service agencies such as public universities and schools providing services or programs within the Elk Grove community. Political campaign booths are not permitted.
  • Commercial Vendor: This category is open to businesses that offer goods or services available for purchase not including food vendors. Please see the Food Vendor application for food and beverage sales.
  • Kids Activity Vendor: This category is limited to businesses that provide face painting, balloon twisting, or similar entertainment services.

Festival Information

  • Event management will communicate exhibitor selections to all applicants the week following the application deadline.
  • Boothsare situated on the grass. Placement of exhibitors is pre-assigned and made at the discretion of Event management. Placement decisions are not negotiable.
  • This event takes place regardless of weather conditions. Exhibitors who fail to provide 24 hour notice of cancellation will become ineligible for participation at future City events.
  • Exhibitor payments are non-refundable.

Exhibitor Responsibilities

  • Exhibitors selling taxable items are responsible for acquiring a seller’s permit through the California State Board of Equalization and a City of Elk Grove Business License; a copy of licenses/ permits must be posted at your booth. Exhibitors are responsible for submitting their own resale taxes.
  • Form BOE 410-D Swap Meets, Flea Markets, or Special Events Certification from the Board of Equalization (attached) must be completed and turned in with application if selling merchandise.
  • Exhibitors are required to supply their own tents, tables, and chairs (no generators are allowed). Tables and booths must be set up by 2:30 pm on July 4th. Exhibitors must vacate by 11pm.
  • All fire codes, laws, and regulations pertinent to health, fire prevention, and public safety shall be strictly obeyed.
  • Exhibitor agrees to allow the City to take photos of your booth and product during the Event, for no additional compensation. Photos taken of your product/booth may be used in City promotions. Exhibitor/staff/employees/agents shall comply with all exhibitor policies. Failure to comply can result in expulsion from event without a refund.
