Republic Services is entitled to an annual rate adjustment in accordance with the current Franchise Agreement to cover inflationary increases in the cost to provide solid waste collection services. The annual adjustment is calculated based upon the change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) to reflect cost increases. This annual adjustment is capped at three percent (3%).
Proposed rate increases go into effect July 1st.
