Free Shuttle Rides by SacRT
Service to the park starts at 4:30pm (every 15 minutes) and service leaving the park runs from 10-11pm.
The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) is offering free transit service to the 4th of July festivities inside Elk Grove Park on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
- Red and Blue shuttle lines will begin service in town and provide shuttle service to the park every 15 minutes, starting at 4:30pm.
- The last Red Shuttle from Elk Grove Blvd at Clarke Farms leaves at 7:30pm and the last Blue Shuttle from Elk Grove Blvd. at Emerald Vista leaves at 7:30pm
- Service leaving the park will begin at 10 p.m. (or at the end of the fireworks show) and will run through 11pm. Pick-up and drop-off inside the park will be in front of the Pavilion.
For ADA certified passengers, SacRT e-van service will be provided within 3/4 mile of the Red Shuttle and Blue Shuttle routes, at the same hours. Reservations may be made up to 2 days prior to travel by calling (916) 321-BUSS (2877), Option 4, then Option 2. SacRT e-van does not accept same day reservations.

The City of Elk Grove will implement temporary traffic controls across southeast Elk Grove on Tuesday, July 4, for the 27th annual Elk Grove Salutes the Red, White & Blue event at Elk Grove Regional Park, road closures and detours will be in effect from approximately 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Streets closed from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.:
- Southbound East Stockton Blvd. at Valley Oak Lane
- Northbound East Stockton Blvd. at Elk Grove Florin Road
Streets closed from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.:
- Southbound West Stockton Blvd at Laguna Grove
- Northbound Promenade/West Stockton Blvd at Kyler Rd
- Whitelock Parkway at West Stockton Blvd
Streets closed from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.:
- Southbound East Stockton Blvd. at the northbound SR-99 Elk Grove Blvd. off-ramp.
- Southbound Elk Grove-Florin Road at Elk Grove Blvd.
Streets closed from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.:
- Northbound East Stockton Blvd. from Grant Line Rd.
Detours in effect from 8:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.:
- Neighborhood traffic east of Elk Grove Regional Park will be directed onto northbound Elk Grove-Florin Road towards Elk Grove Blvd. (Right turn only).
Traffic exiting the east side of Elk Grove Regional Park will be directed onto southbound Elk Grove-Florin Road (Right turn only) onto southbound East Stockton Blvd. (Left turn only). From there, motorists can proceed onto Grant Line Rd.
Traffic exiting the west side of Elk Grove Regional Park AND westbound on Valley Oak Lane will be directed onto northbound East Stockton Blvd. (right turn only).
Traffic eastbound on Valley Oak Lane will be directed onto northbound Emerald Oak.
Traffic exiting from the area of Hampton Oaks Drive, Union Park Way, or Elkmont Drive will be directed onto southbound East Stockton Blvd.
