Special Projects are activities that plan for the long-term growth and development of the community. The following are active special projects.
- Southeast Policy Area Strategic Plan
- This project involves the preparation of a master plan (in the form of a strategic plan) for the Southeast Policy area, 1,200 acres located in the southern area of the City.
- General Plan/Zoning Consistency Program
- In parallel with the City's General Plan Update, the City is preparing a series of amendments to its Zoning Code and other portions of the Municipal Code. The Zoning Consistency Program is intended to provide consistency between the Municipal Code and the new General Plan.
