Elk Grove, Calif. -- High school marching bands from throughout northern California will converge on Elk Grove streets and school sites this Saturday, October 8 to compete in the Franklin High School Invitational Band Review. To accommodate the event, road closures and alternative routes around the event will be in place between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly.
Street Closures for Saturday, October 9:
- Franklin High Road between Whitelock Parkway and Coop Drive will be closed.
- McLean Drive, Jefjen Way, and Clairina Way will be closed at their intersection with Franklin High Road.
Alternative Routes: Whitelock Parkway will remain open for motorists travelling east and westbound during the event.
