Storm Alert: Sandbag Station Open

In preparation for the next round of storms, the City has opened a sandbag distribution station. Operating hours are as follows:

• Monday, January 2, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Tuesday, January 3, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Wednesday, January 4, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Thursday, January 5, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Materials will be available, while supplies last, at the City Corporation Yard at 10250 Iron Rock Way. Sand and sandbags will be provided. This is a self-serve site. Bring proof of address and a shovel.

Elk Grove residents and businesses can receive up to 10 free sandbags at this site. Property owners who need more than 10 are encouraged to visit local home improvement stores to secure the supplies they may need.
