Access Your Photos with Santa!

With rain expected through the weekend, we’ve had to make some modifications, but the Illumination Holiday Festival is still on! Celebrate the holidays with families, friends and neighbors tomorrow from 3 to 8 p.m. at District56 (9701 Big Horn Blvd.).
Get out of the rain and shop for special gifts in the Vendor Village. Enjoy some holiday delicacies, celebrate traditions from around the globe, step into a giant snowglobe for a holiday photo, and connect with Mr. Claus. We may even see some snow during the tree lighting at 7 p.m.!
The Illumination Festival is free to attend and open to everyone. The Illumination Festival is hosted with the support of local businesses including Explore Elk Grove, Lasher’s Elk Grove Subaru, Sutter Health, Frontier, Leaf Filter, Covered California, Republic Services, Unseen Heroes, Ardent Magazine, Town Planner, KLOVE, and Mix96.
Rain Cancels Holiday Lights Parade
Wet weather has put a damper on the outdoor fun on Saturday. Due to anticipated winds and rain, the City and the Elk Grove Lions Club have made the difficult decision to cancel Saturday’s Holiday of Lights Parade.
Thank you to everyone who signed up to participate. With Mother Nature’s cooperation, the parade will return next year.
