They say that food fuels the imagination and city leaders are hoping that a free food truck meal will entice more residents to participate in the city’s budget development process. The City will be hosting a food truck and finance workshop. Participants will learn more about the city’s budget and capital improvement plan over dinner served up by Slider Nation. The Food Truck and Finance Workshop is scheduled on Thursday, October 25, beginning at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
City staff and residents will discuss budget priorities and issues that meet Elk Grove’s wants and need for the next two years. Dinner will be provided for all participants.
