Master Plan and Several Facilities to be discussed during May 4 Meeting

Get involved in the future of Elk Grove! Planning and design of the new Elk Grove Civic Center project is under way. Attend an Open House and Community Meeting at City Hall on Wednesday, May 4 to receive updates on the project and provide your input.

Last January, the City Council directed staff to proceed with the completion of the refined Civic Center Master Plan, including Phase 1 of the project which includes an Aquatic Center, Senior Center/Community Center and Veterans Hall. These three combined Phase 1 projects are estimated to cost approximately $51 million. Funding is proposed to come from a variety of sources including Poppy Ridge and Laguna Ridge Community Facility District (CFD) funds, Laguna Ridge Park Fee and a $3 million contribution from the Senior Center of Elk Grove. Future phases are dependent on funding availability.
