  3. Complete the Lost Pet Information Card

Submit it online or in person (shelter not open yet)

  4. Get the Word Out!

Don’t assume your pet will find their way home. Create a flyer and post it around your neighborhood. Keep it simple, use bold letters to make it east to read and include:

    • Current Photo (if available)
    • Basic Description (Type, breed, color, sex, etc)
    • Contact information

Leave flyers at local veterinarians, pet related stores, share on social media sites like Facebook, Elk Grove Pets Lost and Found, NextDoor, and Craigslist.
