Got Trees?

Allied Waste Services will provide curbside pick up of holiday trees on your green waste pick up day the weeks of December 29th and January 12th.  If your holiday tree is taller than six feet, please cut it into 3-foot or shorter pieces.  You may put the trimmed pieces into your green waste cart, if they fit into the cart with the lid closed.  If the lid won’t close with the tree inside, please leave the tree pieces outside the cart by the curb.

Please Note:

During this windy season, please put carts out early the morning of your pick-up (instead of the night before) and make sure cart lids close completely to avoid causing debris to blow around your neighborhood.

2008:

Property Tax Levy Notice

Did you buy a foreclosed home? Did you receive a notice from the City? Notices were mailed out in late May and early June informing property owners that their delinquent utilities would be transferred to the property tax roll in August 2008. If you purchased a home in that timeframe and it was previously foreclosed by a bank or financial institution, you may not have received one of these letters. If you would like to verify that there are no City of Elk Grove delinquencies associated with the property that you purchased, please contact the City of Elk Grove Utility Billing Department. If you are a new property owner and there are delinquent utilities scheduled to be transferred to the property tax roll, you may be entitled to relief. Please call (916) 478-3642 for more information.
