The City of Elk Grove is pleased to introduce Paperless Electronic Billing, an initiative that will save you time and money when inspecting and paying the utility bills for services provided by the City.
We’ve streamlined our processes with the objective of serving you better. Paperless Electronic Billing is an easy and cost effective way for you to view statements, receive your bill and make payments electronically via the Internet. You will now be free from the labor-intensive paper shuffling, duplicate bill requests or balance checks, and time consuming calls to resolve billing disputes. You also save on the hard costs of check printing, postage, filing and storage.
Paperless Electronic Billing is an excellent way to help reduce paper waste and help the environment. Not only will you be eliminating printing of the bill, but also the envelope, stamp, and inserts distributed by the City. You have the option in your new bill to receive an email of the bill only, or an email with a PDF attachment that will include all these informational materials as well. Either way, no paper is used and waste is reduced!
Not comfortable with eliminating the paper bill? You may opt to receive both a paper and e-bill until you become comfortable with the new system. After enrollment, you can modify your preferences at any time. Upon review, the City is confident you’ll agree that our new system makes billing easier for both parties and take full advantage of Paperless Electronic Billing. The City of Elk Grove is convinced that Paperless Electronic Billing is a mutually beneficial system.
