15th Annual
Salute to the Red, White and Blue

This year, the City of Elk Grove is hosting the 15th Annual Salute to the Red, White and Blue fireworks show at the Elk Grove Regional Park. This event is Elk Grove’s premier Fourth of July, community-wide celebration, a patriotic salute to the birth of our nation.

Featuring Solsa the Band | Listen to music

The festivities begin at 6 p.m. with live music and food. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket and have a picnic or BBQ while enjoying the concert in the park. The event will feature Latin and R&B band SOLSA on the main stage at Strauss Island.

Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. The firing location based at the Kloss Softball Complex will light up the skies over Elk Grove Regional Park.

Admission is free, and parking is $10 per vehicle. Gates open at 7 a.m. Drivers should enter Elk Grove Regional Park at the Main Gate off Elk Grove-Florin Road. The Elk Grove Police Department will release traffic information prior to the event.

Transit Services

The City of Elk Grove will be running special transit service all day on July 4. All transit service will be free to the public, complements of the City. View details.

and Parking Advisory

As a result of the fireworks display which starts at 9:30 p.m., vehicle traffic will not be allowed to enter Elk Grove Park after 9:00 p.m. View details.

Fireworks and family BBQ’s are all activities many people may enjoy this holiday weekend, but the Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito and Vector Control District reminds the public that mosquitoes will also be out looking to bite and that proper precautions to avoid West Nile virus are necessary.
