Transportation Demand Management and Commute Alternatives
The City of Elk Grove is committed to reducing commute vehicle trips and improving air quality by providing commuters with alternatives to driving alone.
Our goal is to reduce vehicle miles traveled by at least 20% - which means that if you use alternative transportation just one day a week, you are helping meet the goal. Whether you want to bike, carpool, telecommute, vanpool, walk, or ride the bus or train to work, we have a program to help you.
