Public Information
Functions and Description
The City’s Public Information serves as the primary idea generator and clearinghouse for all marketing, economic development, public information, media affairs, and intergovernmental relations activities. It consists of the Director of Communications, the Public Information Officer, and the Communications Coordinator.
The Department is responsible for the development and implementation of all communications programs and the management of contracts with the City’s community outreach, public education, workshop facilitation, economic development, marketing, and legislative advocacy consultants.
