Bids and Proposals must be addressed and delivered to the Office of the City Clerk, 8401 Laguna Palms Way, Elk Grove, CA 95758. The outside of the envelope must be identified with the appropriate proposal or project title. Bids or proposals not delivered by the specified date and time will be returned unopened.

Notice is hereby given that on February 12, 2014, the City of Elk Grove (City) determined that all bidders on public works to be undertaken by the City, generally with a contract value greater than $500,000, or as determined by the City Engineer, must be pre-qualified prior to submitting bids for public works. It is mandatory that all Licensed Contractors who intend to submit bids fully complete the pre-qualification questionnaire, provide all materials requested herein, and be approved by the City to be on the final Bidders list. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor that has failed to comply with these requirements.
The pre-qualification packages should be submitted under seal and marked “CONFIDENTIAL” to the City of Elk Grove, Attention: City Clerk, 8401 Laguna Palms Way, Elk Grove, CA 95758. Pre-qualification applications may be submitted during regular working hours on any day that the City of Elk Grove is open, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
The City of Elk Grove (City) has contracts with Consultants for general planning, public works, and building services in the City. At times those contracts necessitate the Consultant to solicit for specialty services by a sub-consultant. The following links are to the Consultants’ websites for the convenience of prospective proposers/bidders and to encourage a competitive process. The City is not responsible and does not manage or oversee content of any website provided below, nor does the City review RFPs/Bids posted by Consultant, or responses submitted as a result of the posting. Any awarded contracts shall be with the Consultant, and not the City. Therefore, award of a contract based on the links below does not create a direct contractual relationship between the sub-consultant and the City. All work shall be provided by and managed through the Consultant.
