Graffiti
Graffiti is a community blight often associated with criminal activity, and the City responds quickly to remove it from public property including such surfaces as sound walls, street signs, bridges and sidewalks.
Graffiti on private property is the responsibility of the property owner. We currently have an agreement with Wal-Mart to assist owners in obtaining one gallon of free color-matched paint to cover the graffiti. If your property has been vandalized, please call our office at 478-8231 for details.
We ask that anyone with knowledge of persons involved in graffiti or any other acts of vandalism please report this information immediately to the Elk Grove Police Department at 478-8231. Community awareness is a vital tool to keep the city clean and safe and help us to eliminate this type of criminal behavior.
