Nonprofit Grant Opportunities

Community Service Grant / Community Development Block Grant

Beginning January 15, 2021, the City of Elk Grove will be accepting applications for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Community Service Grant (CSG) programs for the 2021-22 fiscal year, which covers the period from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. Nonprofit organizations and local governmental entities serving Elk Grove residents may apply for funding for service provision and/or facility acquisition or improvements. If you are interested in applying, you must complete the application form and submit it electronically with all the required documentation by February 16, 2021 at 11:59pm in order to be considered for a grant.

Public Meeting and Technical Assistance Workshop

Application Workshop and Public Meeting Webinar
A public meeting and technical assistance webinar will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 12:30 – 2:00 pm. Community members are encouraged to attend the webinar to provide input on what programs, services, and activities are most needed in Elk Grove. City staff will also provide technical assistance to prospective applicants including an overview of the eligibility requirements and application process. Register to attend

Event Sponsorship Grants

Through the Event Sponsorship Grant (ESG) program, the City of Elk Grove provides assistance to selected nonprofit organizations that wish to host a special event, virtual or in-person, that benefits the Elk Grove community. The application for FY 2021-22 events will be open January 15, 2021 thru February 26, 2021.
