California Northstate University (CNU), as part of their environmental review process for the proposed medical center campus expansion, has tentatively scheduled a helicopter simulation necessary for a noise study with an FAA approved and certified aircraft charter company.  This simulation is tentatively scheduled to take place on the afternoon of Friday, November 1, 2019, with testing to occur over a period of approximately one hour. This simulation will take place at the proposed helistop location on the CNU Medical Center Project site at 2505 West Taron Court. The simulation may be rescheduled for an alternate date if weather conditions are not appropriate for such testing.  If there is sufficient time, an additional mailer will be sent out, and if not, only notice via the internet will be provided.  So please continue to check the City of Elk Grove CNU webpage found at
www.elkgrovecity.org/CNU and the CNU webpage found at www.cnuhealth.com.

Community members are being asked to refrain from using the multi-use trail adjacent to the property during this operation as it will be closed for safety purposes during the simulation.

Should you have specific questions about this simulation, please contact CNU’s representative, Brian Holloway at (916) 731-4435 or
