Posted: 04/27/2018

Elk Grove, CA – The Public Works Department has been working to construct a sewer lift station to service the Southeast Policy Area.  This project has generated temporary traffic controls on Bruceville Road between Bilby Road and Whitelock Parkway.

Currently, there is a detour along Poppy Ridge Road between Bruceville Road and Knotts Drive. This detour will re-open on Monday, April 30 and new lane closures will go into effect along Bruceville Road.

Affected Area: Northbound and Southbound Bruceville Road between Quail Run Lane/Poppy Ridge Road and Whitelock Parkway.

Temporary Traffic Controls in Place: April 30, 2018 – May 11, 2018 from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday-Saturday

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes until project work is completed in these areas. Detour signs and electronic message boards are in place to alert motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists of detours.

This project will provide service for all the future residents and businesses within SEPA. Construction of the sewer station began in October 2017. The $6.9 million project is estimated for completion by summer 2018.
