Traffic Advisory: Lane Closures and Detours on Bruceville Road

Posted: 03/30/2018

The Public Works Department has been working to construct a sewer lift station to service the Southeast Policy Area (SEPA).  This project has generated temporary traffic controls on Bruceville Road between Bilby Road and Whitelock Parkway.

Currently, there is a detour between Bilby Road and Machado Ranch Road. This detour will re-open on Tuesday, April 3rd and new detour will go into effect.

Affected Area: Machado Ranch Drive through Quail Run Lane / Poppy Ridge Road

Temporary Traffic Controls in Place: April 3, 2018 – April 20, 2018 from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday-Saturday.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes until project work is completed in these areas. Detour signs and electronic message boards are in place to alert motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists of detours.

This new sewer construction will provide service for all the future residents and businesses within SEPA. Construction of the sewer station began in October 2017. The $6.9 million project is estimated for completion by summer 2018.
