Committee Members
Appointment and Term: Each member of the City Council shall appoint one member to the Commission. Commission members are not required to live in the district represented by the appointing Council Member. The remaining two members shall be appointed “at large” by a majority vote of the City Council and may be removed by a majority vote of the City Council. Each member shall serve until November 2010. In the event of a vacancy of a Council Member appointed Commission member, the Council Member representing the district from which the vacancy occurs shall appoint the successor. In the event of a vacancy in the “at large” Commission member, the majority of the Council shall appoint the successor.
