Charter Commission
Committee Members
The Commission is comprised of seven members, five appointed by individual Council Members and two appointed by the Council as a whole (“at large”). Commission members are not required to live in the district represented by the appointing Council Member. Each member shall serve until November 2010. In the event of a vacancy of a Council Member-appointed Commission member, the Council Member representing the district from which the vacancy occurs shall appoint the successor. In the event of a vacancy in the “at large” Commission member, the majority of the Council shall appoint the successor.
