Charter Commission
UPDATE: January 14, 2010
The Charter Commission submitted its final report and proposed charter language to the Elk Grove City Council on January 13, 2010. (click here for report) The City Council chose to postpone indefinitely the matter of the Elk Grove City Charter and directed staff to return at its next regularly scheduled meeting on January 27, 2010 with information related to submitting a question on a future ballot to establish the office of elected mayor.
The Charter Commission was disbanded effective January 13, 2010.
