Art in Public Places

The Committee for the Arts recently commissioned Books and Ideas by Arthur Stern of Arthur Stern Studios of Benicia, CA. The completed work resides on the 2nd floor of the new Elk Grove Public Library located at 8900 Elk Grove Boulevard. This architectural stained-glass piece was installed to expand public experiences of visual art and holds the unique distinction of being the first commissioned piece of artwork for the City of Elk Grove.
